Melodia Medley turned a childhood love of dress-up and self-expression into a soulful, slow fashion brand rooted in movement and sustainability. Inspired by her early experiments with transforming her grandmother’s nightgowns, Melodia gained hands-on experience with an indie clothing brand before launching her own line in 2000.

After falling in love with (Tribal) Fusion Belly Dance, she began designing performance costumes, eventually touring with the Bellydance Superstars while selling her creations on the road. Later, yoga inspired her to design versatile, natural fiber pieces for dance, movement, and everyday life.

Today, Melodia Designs remains a small-batch, ethically made brand based in San Diego, known for its thoughtful, community-rooted approach and timeless fusion of fashion and function.

Chair Massage with Licensed Therapist

Ami is a 2007 graduate of the Arizona School of Integrative Studies and has been practicing massage therapy in parallel to her bellydance training ever since.

She has worked in day spas, chiropractic offices, and five-star destination resorts, and currently owns a small mobile massage business, where she brings the table or chair to festivals, concerts, and clients’ home.

These diverse experiences, combined with ongoing education, allow her to draw from a wide range of techniques to create customized treatments that address her clients’ specific concerns, effectively relieve pain, and promote healing and rejuvenation.

At Rhaqsira Belly Dance Fest, Ami will be offering mini massage sessions to help you relax, recharge, and fully enjoy your weekend. You can choose from the following:

Anja Designs

Anja has been costuming belly dancers for decades. She can collaborate with you to co-create your dream costume, or you can select a design from her collection to be finished to order.

A professional belly dancer, instructor, choreographer, and costume designer, Anja is known for creating costumes that are both comfortable and beautifully tailored.

Her company, Anja Designs, offers custom belly dance costumes for solo artists as well as coordinated sets for groups.
